There are currently no State of Tennessee mandated requirements for elected officials to attend any special training sessions. I am currently working with Municipal Technical Advisory Service (MTAS) and Tennessee Municipal League (TML) to lobby the State Legislature for this requirement. feasible and strongly encouraging to elected officials to, at a minimum, attend the Elected Official Academy (EOA) training sessions that I have already attended.
