Implemented Direct Deposit for electronic processing of Payroll and Expense checking operations. This will be the precursor to implementing electronic payment receipting of Property Tax payments and Utility Bills.

New Zoning District Definition providing a new minimum requirement size of ˝ acre providing an alternative to the current “Zoning District of Choice” by developers of 13,300 s.f. (less than 1/3 acre). Three of the four most recent subdivisions have be developed under the R-1B 13,300 s.f. minimum lot size. Our most recent subdivision will be divided into ˝ acre minimum lots and developers will be encouraged to use the new Zoning District definition with ˝ acre minimum rather than the R-1B Zoning District.

Municipal Codes Book updated for the first time in four years. And a new updating schedule set up to routinely update the Municipal Code every January.

Rewrote Fireworks Ordinance strengthening the City’s control over the sale and use and increase the revenue to be gained by the City.

Worked with the Police Department to initiate and implement the Neighborhood Watch Program.
